Tribute to Internet

I just wanted to take this opportunity to pay tribute to one of the greatest inventions of our age. The Internet.

The internet came into existence sometime around the 1960's, and contrary to popular belief was not invented by Al Gore.

After years and years of development, we have today's internet. You can do anything on the internet! It is great. The possibilities are endless. All the information you could ask for, there at your fingertips.

Below is a picture of today's world, and the role of the internet in it.

Let us all take a moment to think about what the internet has done in our lives.

Testimonials:

"The internet has effectively made the world a smaller place. It has given me an outlet for my creative nature."
-Austin Craig

"The internet is pretty rad, I guess."
-Jourdan Lance

So remember, the internet hasn't let you down. Don't let it down. Defend the internet from those who wish to destroy it.

shallow

Lets just face it. It was never meant to work out. I'm shallow and your ugly. It just wasn't in the cards

Something More Substantial

I've already been made fun of for my last post, so in order to try and redeem myself I thought I would present a bit more of an intelligent subject.

Anti-War activists drive me crazy. War is a horrible thing, I agree, but I think that it is ignorant to believe that everything can be resolved by other means. Diplomacy is great, but sometimes it just doesn't work. Sometimes you must fight for what you believe in.

Maybe part of my anger comes because of the argument that American lives should not be spent to defend the Iraqi people. I hold the belief (and I think that there are fewer and fewer that hold this belief) that our country stands, or at least should stand for something. I believe that the freedom that we all have as citizens of this nation is something that we should spread. I believe that we have a responsibility to remove dictators and tyrants from power, and to use force if it be necessary.

Underarm Blues

Sometimes when I am getting dressed in the morning, I forget if I have put on deodorant already or not. Then I have to check. Kind of annoying.

It was only a matter of time really. We all knew this had to happen. Some will wonder why it took so long, some will ask how it happened so fast. But the Collective now has a web presence, a more real one then ever before. There is no turning back now.
